To say I have an electric personality would be an understatement. I’ve been that way all my life. Some days are more exaggerated than others. Today, I have shocked my husband twice, made an arc to a surge protector, blown two light bulbs, and set off a desk calculator. To be on the safe side, I’ll let my husband change the light bulbs. Afraid to even touch my laptop, I ended up going out and hugging “grandfather” oak trees, hoping to discharge some of the current in my body. This is one reason I stay far away from windows during electric storms. It’s also the reason I gave Dorian and other descendants their abilities in my Ruthorford stories. At least they have been able to make theirs useful. Mine is just shocking.
If you haven’t visited Ruthorford, please do. My stories touch one another but stand alone. They center around people who are different, residing in a gorgeous southern town, and trying to live normal lives. Like me, sometimes that’s a lot harder than it seems.
